I have a blogger now

I got out and rode my bike today! not quite running a marathon, but have you ever tried pulling a kid in a trailer on one of those things? OY!

oh, and i used to live in hawaii too...25 years ago, but still, i was there, lived in one of the volcanoes (not beach front like you- ya lucky dog) chased crabs on the beach, got sand up my *ahem* and pretty much lived the dream life of a toddler.
and one of my really good friends is there now, for a few more days-and she was at the ironman too. she got to carry the Israeli flag for the opening ceremonies.
ok, that's all, i won't take up any more of your space...

Not only do i not have a trailer (or a kid to put in it) i don't have a bike either. whenever we stop traveling i plan to get a bike and knock out some triathlons.

Oh-if you think I suck now then you'll really like this...
we saw it from our balcony.

And yesterday, i went out for a paddle on my board and all the sudden i was surrounded by a group of huge sea turtles

That's awesome - I guess it's officially mating season. has the "Freight Trains" waves been swellin'? you definately need to ride them if they are...

BTW - turtle soup is good ;)

Yeah-the whales come in the winter, mostly on the south side of the island. You'll have to book a whale watching trip
