II IV Dies Martis: Our Current Status Edition

Well, Beth and I are in flux right now about what we're going to do next. We are hoping to base our next move on me getting a "real" job. We have/had a couple options, but still aren't sure what's down the road for us.

1. Assistant Manager at a Patagonia Retail Store in Atlanta: I was just informed that the position has been filled, however, everyone I've talked to seems to have a good impression of me and thinks I would be a good fit at Patagonia. Maybe another spot will work out.

2. Doe River is also looking into the future and is planning a new program in my field of O.E. I would be well qualified for this, but we're still thinking and praying about it.

3. Also, I have a good contact who owns a Outdoor Rep agency in Charlottesville, VA. He is planning on creating a customer service position. This would be a good opp to learn about the rep side of the industry.

Every option has pros and cons, so it's a lot to work out. That's where we're at right now.

-well alright-

i think you should leave those whales, sharks, and lepers to fight amongst each other and you move back to the 'real' states where you don't have to worry about anything but hurricanes, earthquakes and bird flu!

That's a hard one. I will pray that God will give you wisdom.

It's Kelly "pinyard". Tonya gave me your blog link. Your stories are great, I'm so glad you pooped in your pants, hahahaa, i haven't laughed so hard in a few days. That was awesome! Anyway, good luck with the job thing!

do you know how much longer you guys have in Hawaii?
finding the 'right' new job is always a challenge, but God know's where he wants you and will work it all out and He will give you peace that the decision is the right one.

No problem, Kelly. Turns out I enjoy having an internet audience. I'll swing by your site and check it out.

I will be praying for you guys. Sometimes,it is hard to know where God wants you. Did you know that is Megan's barbie in the ant hill? We don't mess around with those mean creatures!I believe that they are related to Satan.

Tonya said...

i was expecting the barbie to burst into flames at any moment!
seriously, i WAS wondering who did the video...is that y'alls yard too. OW!

Whoa. I gotta catch up. We are scheduled to leave Mid March, which is a month long extension of our original departure date.
Those ants are crazy, I remember getting them riled up like that when I visited my family in Texas. How do you do video on here?
I too was expecting babrie to disappear from being biten to death.
I think if I had a Castle I would definitely have fire ants all around the perimeter, outside the mote of course.

I filmed it, but shunk it a lot for the internet. It was blurry anyway, but that made it really bad. That was the year we paid a lot of money for a company to control them... we did it ourselves last year and had zero ants.

I post the video on a different site--not blogger--and then just link to it. It's a ctually on our youth site's server (www.freerefills.org) because I used the full size version during a sermon at Bent Tree.
