1. Orange is a great color, especially when it's kind of muted or burnt. 2. However, we're not sure if our kitchen looks good painted orange or not. We think it looks like a basketball.
You know, you could put a really light shade of red over that, which would make it more burnt Orange color. OR, even just do that space around the windows in a nice, dark red. It would add a nice contrast. Where is your house? Are you working? Did you buy it, renting etc? Haven't heard much about you since you left Hawaii.
Sorry I haven't updated on the job yet. This house belongs to my mother, in fact it is the house she grew up in. It's also about two houndred yards from her house. We use it as a home base. Beth just got a job at a hospital down the road as a traveler, and it looks like I'll be doing some research and development for Doe River for 3 months or so. So, if you see something interesting in the way of career opps keep letting me know, I'll look into them.

You need to use a darker color and sponge the edges.

I can't decide which is worse...the orange wall or the old school wood cabinets. Either way, it's still your home and that's all it needs to be comfy!
