Ever Eventful

I just got back from an amazing weekend. I'd tell you all about it, but you wouldn't believe me, so I'll wait until I have the pictures.
In the meantime, here's a quick review of my week.
On Monday I sold my rover. Now I drive a '97 Mazda 626 LX
On Tuesday I rode my bike to the Gorge and arived just in time to attend the appreciation dinner. They built a new lodge and it's amazing.
On Wednesday Beth left for Texas. She'll be back in time for her Birthday.
On Thursday I dropped all of our eggs on the floor, all but one broke; I boiled it, but then forgot about it, so I threw it out too.
On Friday I went to the doctor and it turns out I'm fit as a fiddle.

-well alright-

hey, did you see my parents at the appreciation dinner?

Did you have to turn your head and cough? No pics needed, I'll believe you :)

ouch...was it hard to sell the landy? Tim and I both drove a Mazda 626. It was a good car. We drove it into the ground and then we sold it at a garage sale for $800.

yeah - big difference going from a practically brand new land rover to an older 626. Kinda like when I went from my SAAB 9-3 to my now favorite 1995 Jeep Wrangler. :)

Yeah I did see your parents, I'm always surprised your mom remembers my name.

Yeah I did have to turn head and cough

Yeah it was a little hard to sell it, but not as hard as it was to sell the range rover.

Yeah it is similar to the Saab situation, but I don't foresee the 626 becoming a favorite of any sort.

I'm glad we're not leaving, I was not looking forward to selling our discovery. I LOVE that car. My mom is getting an LR3 in July...I like my discovery better. Oh, I never said why btw we are not leaving...I couldn't post it on my site. Cornell came back and offered Ross another 1 year contract. We only accepted because we don't have anything else at the moment. So, we'll have a nice vacation home and in Paris for a week and then we'll keep looking for jobs and leave when we find something.

Hey, do you and Beth want to come to mom's house and hang out in the hot tub with me while I'm home? Rebekah Keyt will be around, it's our tradition to break open some wine and chill in the tub.

P.S. hahaha, my mom has always been good with names.
