Team Teilhet's Two
1. We are looking at getting a puppy for the Teilhet family, I really want a baby, but a puppy will do for now. Check out this pup.Wire Haired Dachshund. BT
2. We figure that a small dog will be easier to handle, since we don't know what we'll be doing next, or where we'll be going. As soon as we settle down and have a house with a yard I plan on getting a dog I can rough house with. JT

we saw someone with a box of 8 long haired dachshund puppies a couple weeks ago...thought of you guys :)
i want a dog that is big enough I don't have to worry about it breaking when my kids step on it, and small enough i don't have to buy a ranch for it. I love austrailan shepherds, they are REALLY smart
Vizslas are great! My neighbor has two, a gorgeous brother-sister matched pair. they are super smart, need lots of attention and roughhousing, great to train though, they can do anything!
PS--Happy International Pi Day! :o)
PPS--you were in my dream last night, so was Beth, Tim Murray, and Peter--we were camping and it snowed and we built an igloo! random!
you're mean. i bet you're one of those people who would steal fruitcake from a blind monkey and not feel at all bad about it!
I just can't believe you're looking at getting a weiner dog.
Tonya....did I miss something?
And, can you rough house with a dachsund?
What are you talking about Tonya?
huh?
who are you calling "mean", and why are you talking about blind monkeys
Why don't you just get a cat? They are tougher than weiner dogs anyway. If you want a dog, get a DOG. None of this fru-fru stuff. At least with a cat, they take care of themselves. So, it's not very manly, but neither is a weiner dog. Plus, ever think about this... With a weiner dog, if they walk under you, you have to wait a few extra second before you can put your foot down. I can see an accident waiting to happen with this thing.
Here's a better idea... Stop moving, settle in East TN, and buy a real friggin dog...
Biggie
um, ok, if i have to explain it, it just loses momentum...one of those comments that would have worked much better in person :)
ANYWAYS... thanks for making me feel better about myself and less like a dork :)
